Territory Manager Status: Regular, Full time Location: Saint-Eustache, Quebec Job Description The Territory Manager is responsible for sourcing new sales opportunities and closing sales to achieve quotas, they will play a key role in increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with customers, generating leads, qualifying prospects, and managing sales of products and services. Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Focus on day-to-day PPE sales (ie. Glasses, hard hats, gloves, etc); Heavy focus on gas detection and SCBA sales and service aspects.
  • Follow up on all quotes provided to your customers.
  • Travel within sales territory to meet prospects and existing customers. Maintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts and update client information in the company contact database (CRM).
  • Generate sales reports each week and submit them to management.
  • Utilize all available resources to reach out to prospects and attempt to turn those prospects into customers.
  • Collaborate with the management team to improve marketing materials and expand the company’s marketing presence in the territory.
  • Monitor the company’s industry competitors, new products, and market conditions to understand a customer’s specific needs.
  • Attend industry trade shows to accumulate new leads and make productive contact with existing clients.
  • Stay on top of industry trends to identify potential opportunities for company growth. Maintain product knowledge up-to-date.
Work Conditions:
  • Workweeks are typically 5 days, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. (schedules will vary but it is expected that an outside sales representative will work a minimum of 40 hours/week).
  • Working remotely from home
  • Occasional overnight trips to be made.
  • Dress code must be adhered to when meeting with clients
Qualifications for this position
  • Professional and courteous demeanor;
  • 3-5 years experience with safety products; service experience with SCBAs and gas detection is an asset
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Computer experience and understanding of spreadsheet software
  • Patience and ability to tactfully handle customer negotiations
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working with little to no supervision
  • Have a flair for selling and building relationships with individuals and organizations
  • Fluent in reading, writing and speaking French; good knowledge of English.
