STL Engineering is seeking a talented Hardware/Mechatronics Engineer to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

  • Design and Development: Create detailed designs for mechanical and electronic systems, including schematic diagrams, PCB layouts, and mechanical drawings.
  • Prototyping: Build and test prototypes to validate design concepts and functionality.
  • System Integration: Integrate hardware and software components to ensure seamless operation of mechatronic systems.
  • Testing and Debugging: Conduct rigorous testing and debugging of hardware and software to identify and resolve issues.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, mechanical engineers, and project managers, to deliver high-quality products on time.
  • Documentation: Prepare comprehensive documentation for designs, including specifications, user manuals, and maintenance guides.
  • Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends to continually improve design processes and product quality.
  • Project Management: Assist in project planning, including timeline development, resource allocation, and risk management.

The Ideal Candidate Should Possess

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in hardware and/or mechatronics engineering, preferably in a product development environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in PCB design tools (e.g., Altium, Expedition), and embedded systems programming (e.g., C/C++, Python). Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo) a plus.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of mechanical systems, electronics, control systems, and robotics.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of design and documentation.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
