Position Overview:

The Learning and Development Facilitator (L&D Facilitator) will work under the Manager, Learning and Development, to design and implement training programs focused on skill-based requirements across various departments. Responsibilities include coordinating and delivering training in multiple formats, evaluating learning paths, and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.

What You Will Do:
  • Develop and deliver training on aircraft maintenance and related skills.
  • Consult with internal departments to assess training needs.
  • Collaborate with the Learning and Development team to design training solutions.
  • Manage training projects throughout their lifecycle.
  • Engage with subject matter experts for content development.
  • Update examinations for aircraft instruction per regulatory guidelines.
  • Create and maintain courseware for specific internal needs.
  • Mentor SMEs and junior staff in training delivery.
  • Maintain records and reports within Learning Management Systems.
  • Coordinate Apprentice rotation and oversee their training.
  • Support ongoing training assessments for Bargaining Units.

  • Leadership skills and experience in project management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Commitment to Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment policies.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and procedural manuals is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and feedback skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Experience in aircraft maintenance and relevant qualifications.
