CYME International T&D d’Eaton est un chef de file mondial en matière de logiciels de simulation et d'analyse de réseaux électriques. Nos solutions sont au cœur de milliers de projets en T&D dans plus de 100 pays à travers le monde. En tant que membre d'une équipe de développement multidisciplinaire, le développeur logiciel participera à la conception et au développement de projets clients personnalisés permettant d’intégrer des données provenant de différentes sources (SIG, SIC, AMI, SCADA, PI) dans le but de créer un modèle numérique détaillé du réseau électrique afin d’effectuer des simulations d'ingénierie avancées.

Principales Fonctions

  • Analyse les spécifications techniques et les exigences techniques de projets complexes, impliquant des sources de données diverses (SIG, CIS, AMI, SCADA, PI, etc.).
  • Conçoit, développe, et effectue la maintenance de code source efficace, réutilisable, et fiable.
  • Prépare des plans de tests détaillés.
  • Participe au support technique des solutions développées afin de fournir une expérience client inégalée.
  • Coordonne toutes les étapes du cycle de développement en collaboration avec le chef de projet.
  • Participe aux ateliers de conception et aux activités de déploiement de projets à la fois localement et sur les sites des clients.
  • Évalue les nouvelles technologies et les outils de développement.
  • Rédige la documentation technique.

Qualifications

Qualifications requises:

  • Baccalauréat en informatique, Génie logiciel ou DEC en Informatique d'un établissement agréé.
  • Expérience en programmation C# et/ou C++.
  • Pouvoir travailler couramment en français et anglais. La maîtrise du français et de l’anglais est essentielle pour ce poste afin de communiquer avec des collègues, clients et partenaires situés à l’intérieur et à l’extérieur du Québec, ainsi que pour comprendre les documents techniques dans le domaine de notre industrie.
  • Doit être légalement autorisé à travailler au Canada sans le parrainage de l'entreprise.
  • Aucune réinstallation n'est prévue. Les candidats doivent habiter dans un rayon de 80 kilomètres des installations de Brossard, QC.

Qualifications Préférables

  • Expérience avec Oracle, SQL.
  • Connaissance des systèmes d’information géographique (ESRI, Intergraph, SmallWord)
  • Connaissance du logiciel SAFE FME

Position Overview

Eaton's Electrical Engineering Services and Systems division is currently seeking a Data Integration Developer. This role is based in our Eaton Americas Innovation Center in Brossard, Québec, Canada and offers hybrid work opportunities, as well as benefits from day one. Eaton’s CYME International T&D is a world-class Power Engineering Solutions provider with an established reputation for customer responsiveness and technical expertise. Our solutions stand behind thousands of T&D projects in over 100 countries around the world. As part of a multidisciplinary development team, the software developer will participate in the design and development of personalized customer projects allowing the integration of data from different sources (GIS, CIS, AMI, SCADA, PI) with the objective to create a detailed digital model of the electrical network in order to perform advanced engineering simulations.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Analyzes technical specifications and engineering requirements for complex projects involving data sources such as GIS, CIS, AMI, SCADA, PI, etc.
  • Designs, builds, and maintains efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
  • Prepares detailed software verification test plans.
  • Participates in the technical support of the solutions developed aiming to provide an unsurpassed customer experience.
  • Coordinates all stages of the development cycle in collaboration with the project manager.
  • Participates in design workshops and project deployment activities both locally and at customer sites.
  • Evaluates new technologies and development tools.
  • Writes technical documentation.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or DEC in Computer Science from an accredited institution.
  • Experience in C# and/or C++ programming.
  • Work proficiently in French and English. Fluency in French and English is required for this position to communicate with colleagues, customers, and partners located inside and outside of Quebec, as well as to understand technical documentation in the field of our industry.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship.
  • No relocation is being provided. Candidates must live within an 80-kilometer radius of the Brossard, QC facility.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Oracle, SQL.
  • Knowledge of geographical information systems (ESRI, Intergraph, Smallworld).
  • Knowledge of SAFE FME software.
