We are seeking an experienced and people focused General Manager to lead daily operations across our diverse business and support our continued growth. Role Description The General Manager will oversee the full My Chosen property, which includes: My Chosen Café: a full-service restaurant with seating for 100+ guests Sugar Shack: featuring in-house baked goods, ice cream, coffee, local retail products, and My Chosen merchandise My Chosen Pizza: a high-volume take-out and delivery pizzeria Critter Corner: a small on-site animal area with donkeys, goats, and chickens. During peak summer season, My Chosen employs up to 120 staff, supported by Department Managers and Chefs who report directly to the General Manager. Key responsibilities Oversee all front and back-of-house operations across multiple concepts Lead, mentor, and support Department Managers and Chefs Manage labour planning, scheduling, and cost controls Foster a positive, accountable, and high-performing workplace culture Ensure clear, consistent communication across all departments Maintain operational standards, policies, and procedures Collaborate closely with the Director of Operations on strategy and execution What we are looking for Proven experience as a General Manager or senior hospitality leader in a multi-unit or high-volume environment Strong understanding of labour control, scheduling, and cost management Excellent leadership and communication skills Ability to build trust, accountability, and strong team culture Highly organized, calm under pressure, and solution-oriented Compensation Salary: $70,000 – $90,000 (commensurate with experience) Bonus potential Benefits effective immediately 3 weeks paid vacation Free staff parking Free meal each shift Work phone provided Work schedule Business hours: 9:00am – 8:00pm (no late nights) Work hours fluctuate between 35–50 hours per week Strong presence in the front of house, including being guest facing on a daily basis Your support structure includes, hands-on ownership team, a skilled Assistant General Manager and Director of Operations oversight. Start date Ability to start immediately is an asset Ideal start window: March 15 – April 15
