As we continue to scale, we are seeking a General Manager with a rare blend of operational leadership and high-level sales expertise.

The Role

The General Manager will be the driving force behind our daily operations and revenue growth. You aren't just managing a team; you are refining our systems, overseeing the client journey, and ensuring that our marketing efforts translate into high-value contracts. You will work directly with the Owner to execute the company's vision, ensuring every project meets our "Larix Standard" of excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Leadership: Lead the sales process for high-end residential projects, from initial lead qualification and site visits to proposal development and closing.
  • Revenue & Marketing Strategy: Oversee lead generation strategies and curated content marketing (newsletters, portfolios) to ensure a steady pipeline of ideal clients.
  • Operational Oversight: Manage the workflow between sales and production. Ensure the office and field teams are aligned on project goals, timelines, and client expectations.
  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the senior point of contact for our elite clientele, ensuring 5-star service and proactively identifying upsell and referral opportunities.
  • Performance Tracking: Analyze KPIs related to revenue growth, lead conversion, and project profitability to drive continuous improvement.
  • Team Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to the Office Manager and field supervisors to maintain a high-performance, positive company culture.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 10 years in a Management or Senior Sales role (Experience in Landscaping, Construction, or Home Services is highly preferred).
  • Sales Acumen: A proven track record of closing high-ticket contracts and managing complex sales cycles.
  • Leadership: Strong ability to lead a "solo" department while supporting a cross-functional team of experts.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal skills; you must be comfortable presenting to discerning homeowners and professional partners.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with CRM software, project management tools, and Microsoft Office/Google Suite.
  • Requirements: Class 5 driver's license with a clean abstract.
