Lawson Clark & Oldman LLP is one of Durham Region’s most respected and long-established law firms. We’re looking for an experienced Corporate Law Clerk (minimum 1–2 years) to join our collaborative team in Ajax. ~ You’ll work on a variety of corporate and commercial files, managing transactions from start to finish. The role will require from time to time administrative support to the Real Estate department as needed. Prepare corporate documents (incorporations, amendments, annual resolutions, dissolutions, etc.) Manage corporate and commercial closings, including drafting and organizing closing documents Conduct corporate and PPSA searches and registrations Maintain and update corporate minute books and registers Draft correspondence and manage follow-ups efficiently Provide occasional administrative support to the Real Estate department as needed Law Clerk Diploma from an accredited Ontario college Minimum 1–2 years’ corporate law experience in a law firm setting Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Experience in real estate law or providing administrative support to a real estate team is an asset Experience with corporate entity data management systems an asset Competitive salary and bonus opportunities Health, dental, and vision benefits Paid time off, wellness program, and on-site parking
