New Westminster, Canada Nurse Next Door Full time

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate LPN to join our team at Nurse Next Door. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to seniors in their own homes in Burnaby, New Westminster, and Tri-Cities.

About the Role

This is a casual position with flexible hours, allowing you to work as little as 2 hours per shift or up to 12 hours per shift with overtime. You will be working directly with clients, providing one-on-one care and support. Your duties will include executing client care plans, providing delegations of tasks, assessing client needs, and completing records and documentation accurately and thoroughly.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and companionship to seniors in their homes
  • Assist clients with transfers, ambulation, and exercises
  • Help clients with their Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
  • Administer medication, provide wound care, and perform head-to-toe assessments
  • Liaise with physicians and manage diabetic care
Requirements
  • Valid LPN license
  • Negative TB test
  • Valid First Aid/CPR certification
  • Clear criminal record check
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills
  • Comfortable using mobile apps
Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is $30-$33 per hour, with opportunities for overtime pay. A signing bonus of up to $150 may also be available. With flexible hours and competitive pay, this is an excellent opportunity for an LPN looking to make a difference in the lives of seniors.
