Wherever customers are on their financial journey, Momentum Financial Services Group provides solutions.Job DescriptionGENERAL FUNCTIONThe Senior Product Manager will oversee and guide multiple segments of our product portfolio including Installment Lending and Cheque Cashing within North America, while simultaneously providing thought leadership for business line strategy and enabling the execution of initiatives to deliver on financial plans. With full P&L ownership, this individual will build our commercial business. In this highly cross-functional role, the Sr. Manager will also work alongside other heads of business to deliver on department and company goals.DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIESOwnership of the product roadmap, along with full P&L ownership of the Canadian and US Installment lending & core Cheque Cashing business - personal and commercialWork closely with our technology teams to guide current product features and develop new featuresBuild out product roadmap for Installment loan to grow market shareBuild small business and commercial Cheque Cashing program – driving synergies to push cross product utilizationPlan and strategize internal and external growth opportunities, testing new channel and acquisition opportunitiesDrive robust and reliable insights, utilizing Tableau to manage business insights and drive performanceManage the regulatory compliance aspect of productsMonitor the competitive landscape and stay abreast of new initiatives within the marketCreate and implement a strategic plan across multiple product channels and geographiesBuild reports and presentations for leadershipWork with retail and channel leaders to deliver plan resultsWork closely with cross functional teams to build and implement marketing initiativesQualificationsEDUCATIONBachelor's degree required and a graduate degree in a related field is highly desirableEXPERIENCE5-7 years of consumer product experienceSubject matter expert in the Canadian financial services spaceDemonstrated experience in product development, along with knowledge of product management strategiesOmnichannel distribution experience – both retail and digital deliveryExperience in the alternative financial services space considered an assetSKILLSWell versed in macro/micro market analysisDeep analytical capabilities - must be able to use TableauAbility to collaborate with peers to deliver on cross functional prioritiesStrong relationship management skillsStrong leadership skills, with the ability to build and grow a diverse teamGreat communication skills – both written and verbalCapable of managing complex problems and providing fact-based recommendations
