Additionally, Partner with the Nestle Purina's Canadian Sales team to develop the customer inventory position strategies and plans necessary to achieve profitable sales objectives. Responsible for ensuring the demand forecast within Nestlé Purina PetCare Canada is aligned to sales objectives.A day in the life:Create the dispatch plans for replenishment orders, considering the strategic stock policies of the receiving location and the need to maintain high levels of customer service from the forward distribution point.Influence product availability and capacity optimization by coordinating with Operations Planning to reach optimal Customer Order Fulfilment targets.Closely monitor on time reports, focusing on scheduling and production constraints.Compile and analyze data to understand the optimal way of importing pet foods to balance between cost and service.Analyze KPI reports to anticipate and identify issues and develop recommendations to improve operations.Monitor and maintain master data settings within master data responsibilities to ensure system generated requirements are accurate.Work with cross function teams (Affiliates, Finance and Leadership) to track Annual budget process.Ensure accuracy of data reported on Budget project deliverables.Review opportunities within product distribution for cost saving initiatives.Identify potential areas for improvement, savings or efficiency; also presents outside the box solutions.Responsible to share demand planning best practices and ensuring the effective flow of information between the Demand and Supply Planning function and internal business partners (Order Management, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, Finance).Increased 'Speed to Market' through effective coordination of Innovation & Renovation.Role RequirementsMinimum 6 years in Demand Planning/Supply Chain or any related field.Completed University Degree ideally in Supply Chain, Logistics, demand planner or any related field.Demonstrated success in previous roles, delivering against KPIs.Strong analytical background.Microsoft Excel knowledge.Highly developed interpersonal skills to manage business relationships with integrity in a change environment.SAP and Power BI knowledge is an asset.What you need to knowWe will be considering applicants as they apply, so please don’t delay in submitting your application.Nestlé Canada is an equal-opportunity employer committed to diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility.
