We work with customers across North America and are looking for a detail-oriented, customer-focused Prepress professional to join our Graphics Department.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with customers and ensuring artwork is production-ready.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and process incoming customer artwork files for Rotogravure and/or Flexo productionEnsure PDFs and supplied files are accurate, complete, and ready for productionCommunicate directly with customers regarding file corrections, approvals, and timelinesCoordinate the proof approval process internally and externallyWork closely with Production and the Graphics team to support engraving and job preparationTroubleshoot prepress and file issues (color, trapping, resolution, fonts, dielines, etc.)Maintain organized job folders and follow internal workflowsQualifications / SkillsMust have prepress experience in either Rotogravure or Flexographic printingStrong understanding of print-ready file setup and quality controlStrong communication skills - comfortable speaking with customers and explaining file issues clearlyExperience with step & repeat, distortions, and file adjustments for printStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple jobs at onceFamiliarity with ESKO is an assetProficient with Mac-based workflows and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat)Why Work With URGStable, full-time position in a high-growth companyWork in a specialized and respected segment of the printing industrySupportive team environment with training and growth opportunitiesCompetitive pay based on experience
