Job Title: Contract/Sourcing Specialist

Location: Toronto, Ontario, M5B 1B8 (Hybrid model - 2 -3 days in office a week)

Duration: 6 months

Hours of Operation: 9:00 – 4:30 pm EST (excluding lunch break)

Contract Type: T4 only

Pay Rate: CA$34.48/Hour

Job Description:

  • Performs a variety of administrative and clerical tasks, financial and resources administration and provides professional support to one or more Managers.
  • The role provides general offices services ensuring all administrative and operational processes and control standards are followed, while seeking to determine, develop, and participate in implementation of improvement opportunities, contributing to the effective and efficient operation.

SOW Management

  • Review SOWs in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors and take it up for approvals.
  • Ensure that SOWs align with client's policies by working with the sourcing team.
  • Upload the approved SOWS to CLM (Contract Management Lifecycle) tool.
  • Create Purchase Orders for SOWs.

Invoice Processing & Management

  • Review the vendor invoices in accordance with contract terms and approved SOWs.
  • Ensure invoice matches to actual resources hours booked in timesheets.
  • Ensure timely approval of invoices to avoid payment delays.

Onboarding/Offboarding

  • Manage the end-to-end onboarding and offboarding process for resources, ensuring seamless transition. This includes system and tool access provisioning/deactivation and engagement with relevant stakeholders to ensure a smooth experience.

Finance:

  • Provide estimated monthly accruals to the Finance team.
  • Analyze financial data to identify gaps in capitalization.

Must Have Requirements:

  • Typically, 5+ years of relevant experience in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field(preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in SOW management, invoicing, or financial documentation(preferred).
  • Strong understanding of contract terms, procurement processes, and invoices workflows.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Verbal & written communication skills - In-depth.
  • Collaboration & team skills - In-depth.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills - In-depth.

  • Pervious Finance experience

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
