**Job Description:**

We are seeking a skilled Senior External Data Specialist to join our team at Fortrea. As a member of our data management group, you will work closely with the Lead Data Manager to ensure the quality and integrity of external vendor data. Your expertise will be essential in developing and implementing data plans, collaborating with vendors and sponsors, and maintaining accurate documentation.

  1. Data Quality and Integrity: Ensure that external vendor data meets company SOPs, guidelines, and global standards.
  2. Vendor Collaboration: Establish clear expectations, milestones, and communication protocols with external vendors and sponsors.
  3. Data Transfer and Validation: Verify that electronic data transfers contain all protocol-specified parameters and populate to the designated fields and subjects correctly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Planning and Development: Create comprehensive data plans, including data quality review reconciliation sections.
  • Edit Checks and Reports: Develop and document data edit checks and reports, obtain approvals, and perform QC and UAT.
  • Query Management: Review data discrepancies and manage queries to resolve data issues.
  • Communication and Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of data issues and communicate outcomes to stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in life sciences, health sciences, information technology, or related subjects, or equivalent experience.
  • Languages: Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • Skills: Strong organizational, planning, and critical-thinking skills; effective communication and negotiation skills; ability to handle multiple tasks under demanding conditions.
