Job Title: Early Childhood Supervisor

Heritage Park Children's Programs is seeking a dedicated and experienced Early Childhood Supervisor to join our team. As an Early Childhood Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of early childhood educators and assistants in providing high-quality child care services to children aged 0-12 years.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Supervise staff, trainees, or volunteers and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
  • Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children.
  • Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children.
Requirements:
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate.
  • Child Development Worker (ECE Level 2) certification.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a child care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
