About the Role

Aecon is seeking a seasoned Project Controls Director to join our Urban Transportation Solutions group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of dynamic transit projects in Canada.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain project controls systems, including cost and schedule baselines.
  • Lead project teams in planning, scheduling, cost control, change management, and risk management.
  • Develop and implement project-specific project controls plans, including Earned Value Management.
  • Provide commercial and technical expertise to support proposal development and contractually defined project control requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to contract conditions and Aecon's standards.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in Business or Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 15+ years construction industry experience.
  • Proven experience in planning, scheduling, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, estimating, and cost control.
  • Strong knowledge of Earned Value Management principles.
  • Ability to lead project controls staff and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
