Safeway is seeking a skilled Baker's Helper to join our Bakery team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring the highest quality baked goods are prepared and presented for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist in the preparation and presentation of baked goods, including mixing, baking and decorating.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional manner.
  3. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  4. Work collaboratively with the Bakery team to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.
  5. Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a bakery or food service environment is an asset.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 20 pounds and stand for long periods.
