The Waterloo Region District School Board is seeking a Mathematics Instructor to join our team. This is a long-term occasional position available at various schools in the region.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to teach mathematics to students in grades 9-12. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mathematics and be able to effectively communicate complex concepts to students.

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $80,000 and $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

About the Role

This position involves teaching mathematics to students in grades 9-12, as well as planning and delivering lesson plans. The successful candidate will be required to hold a valid Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) certification and have a strong understanding of curriculum requirements.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics or related field
  • OCT certification
  • Experience working with students in grades 9-12
