Critical Care Nurse

North York General Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care Unit team. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing patient needs and demands.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, staff, and families to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Make informed decisions and take ownership of actions, utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving skills to ensure patient safety and well-being.
- Assume a leadership role, demonstrating self-motivation and a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
- Diploma in Nursing or Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing.
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Critical Care Certificate, required.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), preferred.
- Critical Care/ICU Experience, preferred.
- Bilingualism in French/English, an asset.
As a Registered Nurse at North York General Hospital, you will enjoy a highly competitive total compensation package, including pay in lieu of benefits, vacation pay, and the opportunity to join the Hospital Pension Plan. This is a Full-Time Permanent position, with 12-hour shifts, including day and night shifts, and weekends in the Critical Care Unit.
