We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Server Assistant to join our team at Aera. As a Server Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining room, providing exceptional service to our guests, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food and Beverage Service: Assist servers with food running, ensuring that plates arrive at the correct table and maintaining a high level of floor awareness.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Monitor the cleanliness of the section, ensure all materials and areas are clean and free from clutter, and maintain a high level of organization.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with servers and hosts to maximize seating and ensure a positive guest experience.
  • Quality Control: Monitor food quality and presentation standards, and follow all food safety standards and systems.
  • Housekeeping: Empty garbage, change linen bags, and dispose of garbage and recycling.
  • Guest Communication: Communicate any comments or information provided by guests to servers to ensure a positive and memorable experience.
Requirements
  • Experience: Prior proven experience in a similar position for at least 6 months.
  • Certification: Smart Serve Certification is a requirement.
  • Skills: High attention to detail, ability to remain calm under pressure, organizational skills, ability to take direction and prioritize, strong oral communication skills, high level of product knowledge, and ability to maintain a level of professional urgency and momentum.
  • Availability: Full availability, including AM & PM shifts and weekends/holidays.
