Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Proto Plus Precision, Inc.

About the Role

This is a temporary full-time position offering 30-40 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will have experience with manual or semi-automatic welding equipment and be able to ensure that welds meet standards and specifications.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Equipment

The selected candidate will be responsible for operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, as well as flame-cutting and brazing machines. They must also maintain and perform minor repairs on this equipment.

Ensure Quality Standards

The Welder will examine welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. This requires attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

Work Environment

This role involves working in a fast-paced environment with heavy equipment. The successful candidate must be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and be physically fit for the demands of the job.

Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $45,000-$60,000 based on industry standards and location. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a pension plan, health care, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a Registered Education Savings Plan (RESP).
