Job Description:

We seek a Senior Capital Analyst to manage the holdback process according to the Builders Lien Act. This position will track and report on capital projects, including claims preparation for various funding agencies.

The ideal candidate must be enrolled in Core 2 of the Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) professional accounting program.

Required skills include systems training in a computerized financial records environment and experience working with complex integrated computer and information systems.

Experience with capital projects or construction accounting is preferred. Proficiency in advanced Excel features, such as pivot tables, macros, and vlookups, is necessary.

The successful candidate must be skilled in using personal computers and advanced features of software packages for statistical analysis, financial, graphics, and word processing.

A good knowledge of university policy and procedures would be an asset.
