Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of group benefits administration, including request to quote documents, renewal documents, and processing new sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • All Request to Quote documents: gathering requirements, sending to carrier partners, and following up on quotes.
  • Renewal documents: completing, preparing, and distributing to advisors and carriers.
  • New sales processing: tracking group sales, inputting data into WealthServ, and following up with advisors and carriers.
  • CRM data entry: maintaining accurate records of client interactions and correspondence.
  • Facilitating client changes and completion of service needs: resolving client issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintenance of carrier, advisor, and carrier email correspondence: ensuring that all necessary documentation is maintained and risk mitigation strategies are in place.
  • Assistance with Marketing team initiatives: supporting marketing efforts to promote our services and products to advisors and clients.

Requirements

  • Experience in group benefits administration is an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills: both verbal and written.
  • Relationship-building skills: ability to build and maintain relationships with staff, advisors, and other stakeholders.
  • Microsoft Excel skills: proficiency in using Excel for data analysis and record-keeping.
  • Professionalism and respectful conduct: maintaining a professional demeanor and treating others with respect in the workplace.
  • English language proficiency: ability to communicate effectively with customers, advisors, or employees across Canada.
