As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our campus, ensuring a safe and effective learning environment for our children, and driving the development of our early childhood education programs.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management
- Oversee the hiring and training of new staff members, ensuring they are qualified and aligned with our program's philosophy and values.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to improve staff performance, engagement, and retention.
- Curriculum Development and Implementation
- Collaborate with our education team to develop and implement high-quality early childhood education programs that meet the needs of our children.
- Ensure that our programs are aligned with Alberta Child Care Licensing and Accreditation standards.
- Operational Management
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of our campus, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Ensure that our facilities are safe, well-maintained, and meet the needs of our children and staff.
- Communication and Community Engagement
- Build strong relationships with our families, staff, and community partners to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Develop and implement strategies to engage our families and community in our programs and services.
- Education and Experience
- Early Childhood Education diploma or degree from a recognized college or university.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in early childhood education, with a focus on leadership and management.
- Skills and Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of Alberta Child Care Licensing and Accreditation standards.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with families, staff, and community partners.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs, especially when working with infants and toddlers.
