Job Title: Foreman

Brandt Tractor Ltd is seeking a skilled Foreman to join our Vernon Construction & Forestry team.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our service department, ensuring the quality of repair work, and providing guidance to technicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and prioritize work assignments to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Supervise and mentor service technicians to ensure high-quality work and adherence to company standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols
  • Collaborate with the Service Manager to identify training needs and develop strategies for improvement
  • Communicate effectively with customers, technicians, and other branch personnel to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Manage costs and ensure profitability of the department
  • Perform other duties as required to support the success of the service department
Requirements
  • Previous mechanical experience in a heavy equipment environment is an asset
  • Certified Journeyman in the Heavy Duty Equipment technician trade or equivalent designated trade required
  • Experience in a service department setting required
  • Familiarity with John Deere and competitive products preferred
  • Forklift license preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
