Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales and Leasing Consultant to join our team at AWIN Group of Dealerships. As a Sales and Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for selling and leasing new and pre-owned vehicles to existing and new customers, while meeting sales quota and gross profit targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Handle incoming sales traffic, including phone calls, internet inquiries, and in-person visits.
  • Qualify all prospects and arrange trade-in appraisals through the Pre-Owned Sales Manager.
  • Liaise between prospects and sales management during negotiations.
  • Turn over all sales customers to the finance office and arrange new and pre-owned deliveries through sales management and the finance office.
  • Actively prospect new customers and follow up with past deliveries to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Research and stay up-to-date on product changes and manufacturer sales, lease, and finance programs.
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings and review individual floor traffic management statistics.
  • Familiarize yourself with all manufacturers' sales, lease, and finance programs and make annual lease maturity contact calls with existing clients.
  • Keep apprised of competitive products and review historical performance vs. objectives with management to set annual sales objectives.
  • Participate in off-site marketing and advertising initiatives as required by sales management and assist in the arrangement of showroom displays.
  • Participate in off-site product and skills training programs and close sales by overcoming objections and negotiating prices.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Ontario G Driver's License and clear Driver's Abstract.
  • Valid OMVIC registration.
  • Strong business acumen and professional appearance.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to sell the minimum quota according to dealership objectives.
