We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Service Leader to join our team at The Henry Public House in Surrey, Canada.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year experience in a restaurant leadership or management position and possess excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

This is a full-time opportunity with flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest service, and maintaining a positive working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations and ensure all service standards and guest requests are met
  • Promptly inform the General Manager of any issues and provide recommendations for resolution
  • Complete job responsibilities and performance objectives in a timely manner
  • Maintain a favorable working relationship with all employees and foster a cooperative work environment
  • Provide exceptional guest service and ensure high industry standards are upheld
  • Oversee and manage all areas of the restaurant and make decisions reflected in the importance to guest service
  • Hold employees accountable for service standards, performance, and appearance
  • Ensure guest satisfaction in all areas of food, service, and environment
  • Develop and maintain relationships to ensure guests remain loyal and return
  • Report and record all repair and maintenance issues in a timely manner
  • Ensure financial and payroll related administrative duties are completed accurately and on time
  • Maximize bar profitability by following correct pouring and recipes
  • Understand scheduling based on budget and sales forecast and staffing shifts accordingly

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Food & Beverage Server and/or Bartender
  • Joseph Richard Group Food & Beverage testing
  • Serving It Right certification
  • First Aid Level 1 an asset but not required
  • Positive, can-do attitude
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong communication skills
  • Organizational skills

Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for advancement.
