Project Manager Role Overview

As a Project Manager at EllisDon, you will be responsible for providing overall construction management from pre-construction to completion. This includes design, coordination, budget, and schedule management in conjunction with the Superintendent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare regular, timely, and accurate billings for Owners and ensure timely payment of subcontractor billings.
  • Meet with Owners and Architects in a professional manner and communicate effectively on behalf of the company.
  • Monitor, interpret, and forecast project cost reports to ensure they align with the estimate and maintain a positive cash flow.
  • Lead project meetings with internal and external parties to support team development and progression.
  • Submit project reports to Area Manager and communicate project progress and areas of risk that require escalation.

    Requirements

    • Minimum 7 years of experience working as a Project Manager in general construction, excavation, and shoring, underground utilities, bridges, and structure below grade and at-grade.
    • Experience with structural piling or concrete work is an asset.
    • Ability to mentor and delegate to a large team while developing and maintaining strong client relations.
