Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Practical Nurse to join our team at Groves Memorial Community Hospital. This is a full-time opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care in a multidisciplinary setting
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Develop and maintain strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development
  • Meet the qualifications and requirements outlined in the Ontario College of Nurses standards

Requirements:

  • Current Registration with the Ontario College of Nurses
  • BCLS Certification
  • Medication Administration Course
  • Updated IV course and IV Med Administration
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting
  • Demonstrated lifelong learner
  • Team player
  • Satisfactory performance and attendance required
  • Satisfactory Reference Checks required prior to start date
  • Must provide a Police Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Must complete a Pre-Employment Health Assessment prior to being hired
