We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Assistant to join our team at the Côté-Jardins inc. long-term accommodation and care center. Our facility provides a warm and welcoming environment for adults with loss of functional or psychosocial autonomy.

As a Nurse Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing nursing care and treatment to maintain and restore health, prevent illness, and provide palliative care;
  • Collaborating in assessing the health status of residents by collecting relevant information on a daily basis;
  • Contributing to the management of crisis situations in collaboration with the care team;
  • Ensuring adequate supervision at all times;
  • Promoting a calm climate to encourage rest for residents;
  • Collaborating in supportive care according to the 14 basic needs;
  • Participating in team meetings to update nursing tools;
  • Creating and maintaining interactions between families and residents to encourage involvement in decision-making.

To be considered for this role, you must hold an OIIAQ permit and a diploma of professional studies in health, assistance, and nursing. Experience working with geriatric clients is an asset.
