Job Title: Auxiliary Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Auxiliary Nurse to join our team at Centre d'hébergement et de soins de longue durée Côté-Jardins inc.

About the Role:

As an Auxiliary Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing nursing care and treatment to maintain and restore health, prevent illness, and provide palliative care;
  • Collaborating with the care team to assess the health status of residents and develop individualized care plans;
  • Ensuring adequate supervision and promoting a calm climate to facilitate rest and relaxation for residents;
  • Participating in team meetings to update nursing tools and collaborate with the care team;
  • Creating and maintaining interactions between residents and their families to encourage involvement in decision-making.
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Hold an OIIAQ permit;
  • Have a diploma of professional studies in health, assistance, and nursing;
  • Have experience working with geriatric clients who have lost their autonomy (an asset);
  • Be resourceful, empathetic, and possess developed listening skills.
