About the RoleThis permanent position reports to the Director of Finance and Corporate Services. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the daily functions of the Human Resource department, including coaching, hiring, and interviewing staff, as well as enforcing company policies and practices.
Your Key Responsibilities- Human Resource Management:
- Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions
- Implement new hire orientation and employee recognition programs
- Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs, including compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, and morale
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, employment law, employee retention, morale, recognition, productivity, and incentives
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field
- Three (3) years of professional-level experience in human resources
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid class 5 driver's license as issued by the Province of New Brunswick
- An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered
- Written and spoken competence in English is required
$50,000 - $70,000 per year (based on a bi-weekly salary of $2,402.00 to $3,355.00)
