As an Industrial Metal Fabrication Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our metalworking operations, ensuring the highest quality products are delivered to our customers.

Responsibilities:

* Assist metalworkers in operating metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal products
* Transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the plant manually
* Immerse metal products in cleaning solutions
* Assist structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, metal machine operators, or other metal workers
* Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials
* Clean machines and immediate work areas
* Polish metal products to a mirror finish
* Read and interpret work orders
* Operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape, or straighten sheet metal
* Cut materials using power tools or by hand

Work Environment:

* Physically demanding
* Attention to detail
* Bending, crouching, kneeling

Requirements:

* 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
