Job Title: Medical Laboratory Technologist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our team at the Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a Medical Laboratory Technologist, you will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests and analyses, preparing tissue sections for microscopic examinations, and maintaining medical laboratory equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine laboratory tests and sample analyses
  • Prepare tissue sections for microscopic examinations
  • Clean and maintain medical laboratory and laboratory equipment
  • Conduct quality control assessment of testing techniques
  • Set up medical laboratory equipment

Requirements:

  • Education: College/CEGEP
  • Experience: Experience an asset
