T-Net British Columbia is partnering with a leading SaaS company in Vancouver to find a Director of Software Engineering to lead a critical part of their business. The Role:

In this role, you will have the chance to drive large complex projects with significant business impact, ensuring operational and engineering excellence. You will be responsible for managing managers across multiple teams, scaling organizations and systems, and developing and executing strategic plans to gain market share.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead a strategic organization and drive large complex projects with significant business impact.
  • Scale organizations and systems in both numbers and complexity, ensuring operational and engineering excellence.
  • Develop and execute medium- and long-term strategic plans to gain market share and grow people and systems towards exponential growth.
  • Set up organizational structures and processes that can manage rapid growth without losing momentum.
  • Oversee large-scale SaaS products or large-scale on-premises systems in production with cross-functional Agile DevOps teams.
  • Lead agile transformation and understand traditional vs modern SDLC approaches.
  • Understand architectural design patterns for scaling systems, including Monolith to Microservices and SOA.
  • Familiar with year-over-year growth pressures and have a background in medical software or high compliance spaces like Fintech.
