Chief Technology Officer

The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will lead the senior management team and oversee the recruitment of essential personnel within the department. This position is responsible for providing timely and constructive performance assessments and managing employee discipline and termination in accordance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directs the development and final approval of project plans.
  • Conducts or secures cost analyses for development initiatives; prepares or assigns the creation of project completion schedules.
  • Ensures projects are executed within budgetary constraints and in a cost-effective manner.
  • Establishes and executes the strategic vision for the organization’s engineering and development efforts.
  • Collaborates with executive leadership to set and achieve organizational objectives while providing expertise and guidance on projects, operations, and systems.
  • Identifies, recommends, and implements innovative technologies and systems to enhance organizational processes and decision-making.
  • Ensures that departmental decisions regarding staffing, development, organization, hardware acquisitions, and facilities align with the company’s business strategy and vision.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned and as strategically necessary for the success of the organization.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required; an MBA is preferred.
  • A minimum of ten years of relevant experience is necessary.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven supervisory and leadership capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
