Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Shell. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating a cash register, and processing transactions with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions with accuracy and efficiency
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Stock shelves and maintain a clean and organized store environment
  • Assist customers with self-checkout and resolve any issues that may arise
  • Monitor all entrances and exits, and request proof of payment when necessary
  • Participate in promotional activities and suggest products to customers
  • Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
