Job Description

As a key member of the AccorHotel team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of service and quality. Reporting to the Housekeeping Leadership Team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to guests and colleagues alike.
  • Fitting and altering colleague uniforms to ensure a professional and crisp appearance.
  • Pressing and steaming uniforms and other items, as well as sorting them into their designated areas.
  • Maintaining the uniform room in an organized and tidy manner, including logging and filling out uniform information and keeping an updated inventory file.
  • Performing minor repairs on managers' clothing upon request.
  • Assisting with pressing duties and minor repairs for guest items as needed.
  • Receiving and reviewing incoming dry cleaning for guests and colleagues, ensuring accurate billing and timely delivery.
  • Cross-referencing invoices with physical checks of items received from outside contractors.
  • Preparing dry cleaning for return to guest rooms, adhering to strict quality control standards.
  • Carrying out minor repairs to items in guest rooms and public spaces, such as curtains and furniture.
  • Creating custom pieces for special projects as required.
  • Maintaining a safe working environment by adhering to equipment safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • A university degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a tailor or seamstress in a professional setting.
  • The ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • High levels of responsibility and reliability.
  • Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
