About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Ausenco. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering innovative mechanical engineering solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of mechanical engineering designs and deliverables for construction projects
  • Manage and supervise a team of mechanical engineers and designers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of projects
  • Contribute to the development of mechanical contracts and provide technical expertise to support project delivery
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve engineering processes and deliverables
Requirements
  • ~25 years of mechanical design engineering experience in a relevant industry, e.g. mining, mineral processing, materials handling
  • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, 3D software, and MS Office
  • Ability to resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
