Principal Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Burlington, Canada. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering mechanical engineering design solutions that meet our clients' needs.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development of mechanical engineering designs and deliverables, ensuring they meet our clients' requirements and our company's standards.
- Supervise and mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their performance goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure mechanical engineering designs are integrated with other disciplines, such as electrical and civil engineering.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve our engineering processes and deliverables.
- Undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario.
- Minimum 25 years of experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably in the minerals and metals industry.
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, 3D software, and MS Office.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
