Job Title: Housekeeping Aide

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Aide to join our team at Manitoba Ltd. as a key member of our facilities support staff.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our guests and staff. This role requires a strong work ethic, ability to work independently, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of facilities, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors, dusting furniture, and vacuuming carpeting and upholstered furniture.
  • Make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, and stock linen closets.
  • Handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, and provide basic information on facilities.
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and address customers' complaints or concerns.
  • Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fast-paced environment and ability to work under pressure.
  • Repetitive tasks and ability to handle heavy loads.
  • Physically demanding role requiring standing for extended periods and bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Up to 9 kg (20 lbs) weight handling.
