Housekeeping Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Aide to join our team at Manitoba Ltd.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds, and change sheets.
- Housekeeping: Distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closets, handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, and provide basic information on facilities.
- Light Housekeeping and Cleaning Duties: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, pick up debris, and empty trash containers.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, and provide excellent customer service.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: Will train.
- Physical Demands: Ability to work independently, fast-paced environment, work under pressure, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
- Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
- Personal Suitability: Dependability, flexibility, initiative, organized, reliability, team player, values and ethics, patience, and honesty.
- Free Parking: Available.
- Learning/Training: Paid by employer.
- Employment Type: Permanent.
