Job Title: Housekeeping Aide

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Aide to join our team at Manitoba Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our guests and staff. This includes sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpeting and upholstered furniture, and making beds and changing sheets.

Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
  • Dust furniture and fixtures
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
  • Make beds and change sheets
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries
  • Stock linen closet
  • Handle and report lost and found items
  • Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items
  • Provide basic information on facilities and services
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs
Requirements:
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle repetitive tasks
  • Ability to lift and move heavy loads up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
  • Dependability, flexibility, initiative, and reliability
  • Team player with good communication skills
