About the Role

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking an experienced Senior Enterprise Architect to support the IT business mission of a large-scale government enterprise's IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect information for strategic business mission planning and IT investment
  • Develop and implement IT enterprise architecture frameworks, including Zachman and TOGAF
  • Provide a holistic view of the enterprise from different perspectives, considering budget constraints
  • Collaborate with system owners, planners, designers, developers, and subcontractors
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of various technologies, including Windows Desktop applications, remote access, MS Windows 7, SQL Server, VMware, EMC, SAN storage, Cloud as a service, Broadworks, Polycomm, BlackBerry, Apple iOS, information security, wireless technologies, system networking, etc.
  • Apply ITIL, project management (PMI), Agile, Configuration and Change controls
  • Provide technical engineering practices recommendations, advice, and enhancements from integration engagements of prior successful systems integrations
Requirements
  • Exceptional interpersonal and professional maturity and senior-level IT competency
  • Exceptional oral and written communication abilities
  • Experience and knowledge in organization processes and procedures specific to PMI, ITIL, CISSP, SDLC, Agile, ISSO, Six Sigma, and CMMI
  • Experience with various EA frameworks, including Zachman and TOGAF
  • Demonstrated engineering abilities in Windows Desktop applications, remote access, MS Windows 7, SQL Server, VMware, EMC, SAN storage, Cloud as a service, Broadworks, Polycomm, BlackBerry, Apple iOS, information security, wireless technologies, system networking, etc.
  • Understanding and utilization of ITIL, project management (PMI), Agile, Configuration and Change controls
  • Capability in providing technical engineering practices recommendations, advice, and enhancements from integration engagements of prior successful systems integrations
