Floor Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Floor Manager to join our team at Decathlon Canada Inc.
Job Summary:The Floor Manager will be responsible for supervising staff, hiring and training new employees, teaching interest or professional development courses, and maintaining inventory. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong understanding of retail operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and motivate staff to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service
- Hire, train, and develop new employees to ensure a high-performing team
- Teach interest or professional development courses to enhance employee skills and knowledge
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and manage stockroom operations
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
- Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages in a timely and professional manner
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment
- Equivalent experience in a related field
