Job Title: Floor Manager - Retail Store
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Floor Manager to join our team at Decathlon Canada Inc. As a Floor Manager, you will be responsible for supervising staff, hiring and training new employees, and teaching interest or professional development courses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise staff and ensure they are meeting sales targets and providing excellent customer service.
- Hire and train new employees to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their job duties.
- Teach interest or professional development courses to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Order merchandise and authorize returns to ensure that stock levels are maintained.
- Establish work schedules and prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
- Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that stock levels are accurate and up-to-date.
- Conduct performance reviews to ensure that staff are meeting their job duties and providing excellent customer service.

Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
- Or equivalent experience
Language: French
Work Term: Permanent
Hours: 80 hours bi-weekly
