Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at Auto Country. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounts receivable and payable, preparing bank reconciliations, and reviewing financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Review financial transactions to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare payroll and ensure timely payment to employees.
  • Invoice clients and collect payments in a timely manner.
  • Store, update, and retrieve financial data as required.
  • Perform clerical duties, such as maintaining filing and record systems.
  • Prepare reports and provide financial information to management as needed.
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP diploma in a related field.
  • Experience in accounting or a related field is an asset.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Accurate and detail-oriented with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large workload. The ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively is essential.
