Accounting Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Assistant to join our team on a 12-month contract basis. As an Accounting Assistant, you will be responsible for providing financial support to our clients, including managing cheque printing, reconciliations, and month-end reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle client inquiries and provide timely responses
  • Claim cheque printing and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Assist with month-end reporting and bank and account reconciliations
  • Upload files and notes to the ERP system
  • Offer customer support to B2B clients on account balances and invoice inquiries
  • Print, post, and collate refund and claim cheques

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of accounting experience (co-op experience considered)
  • Strong communication skills and problem-solving ability
  • Strong Excel skills and ability to work independently
