About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team at Four Seasons Hotel Montreal. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Food and Beverage management team in maintaining high standards of service, quality, and safety.
  • Ensure that all guests receive exceptional service, tailored to their individual needs and preferences.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless food and beverage service, and maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Manage the daily operations of the restaurant, bar, and lounge, including staff supervision, inventory management, and cash handling.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
  • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all food and beverage products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to guest inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Collaborate with the events team to ensure seamless execution of events and functions, including weddings, conferences, and social events.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, vendors, and partners.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, and implement changes as necessary to ensure compliance and excellence.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree or certification in hospitality or a related field an asset.
