Job Title: Telecommunications Rigger

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Telecommunications Rigger to join our team at Erivan-Gecom Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect trunking systems to ensure they are functioning properly
  • Install and maintain aerial and underground telephone equipment
  • Test equipment to locate transmission faults and determine the nature, cause, and location of trouble
  • Install trunking systems, circuits, and equipment
  • Complete and maintain test and service reports
  • Climb and work aloft on poles, ladders, or other support structures
  • Splice, join, and connect wires
  • Repair or replace defective telephone equipment

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in telecommunications installation and maintenance
  • Ability to work at heights and in a physically demanding environment
  • Manual dexterity and ability to handle heavy loads
  • Steel-toed safety boots and other personal protective equipment
