Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at Toronto Poly Clinic Inc. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to clients in their homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and mobility
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging them in activities and conversations
  • Assist clients with medication management, including administering medications and monitoring side effects
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for clients
  • Assist clients with transportation to appointments and outings, ensuring their safety and comfort
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in a Personal Support Worker role or related field
  • Valid CPR and First Aid certification
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
